So after I paid off my smaller credit card I was left with the big one. Sadly I used it a few more times. They even upped my limit and I did charge more onto it. Stupid move on my part I’m fully aware. However I have good news that news is I will have it paid off in 55 months or so.
How you ask? I will be doing a Debt Management Program. A company that helps people pay off their debt. Basically they work with the credit company to lower or remove the interest completely and they get a tiny payment and the rest of the money you pay goes straight to the debt it’s self.
In fact my program the interest is removed thank god for that. I also have the option if I decide one month to put an extra amount on to my debt that I can and it won’t look bad.
I have a work book that I will be using over time. I have to do two webinars that I’m signed up for. And yea it will be nice to finally pay off this big credit card.
Even though my credit score is somewhat affected it’s still good because it shows Im paying off the debt. Then after the company I’m working with helps me build back my credit. By giving me a small credit card limit that I’m able to handle.
Its pretty cool to be honest. I’m looking forward to getting out of this bit of debt and re learning how to use credit the proper way again. But and till that day comes managing my money and budgeting it better is what I’ll be working out from here on out.
